Poonam Maadam, a legacy bearer of the Maadam family, earned her bachelor’s degree in commerce from Gujarat University. Married to former defense officer Parminder Mahajan, she is the daughter of Dinaben and Hematbhai Maadam. Her father’s political legacy is notable, having served as an independent MLA for four consecutive terms from 1972 to 1990 in Jam Khambhalia. He also served as President of the Jamnagar Municipality before assuming the role of Mayor of the Municipal Corporation. The Maadam family’s commitment to community service extends further through her grandfather Rambhai Maadam, who made significant contributions in the Ahir/Yadav community’s education sector.
